ADVERTISING DISCLOSURE
Please note that some of the links used in this website may be affiliate links, meaning Catherine Barnhoorn will earn a small commission (at no cost to you) if you decide to make a purchase after clicking through those links.
AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
In keeping with the trust and transparency I wish to maintain with you, I am disclosing that some of the links on this website are affiliate links. I have only included links which complement the content of this website. At no additional cost to you, I (Catherine Barnhoorn) will earn a small commission if you decide to make a purchase, which helps maintain this website and support myself and my daughter.
Please note that I have not been given any free products, services, or anything else by these companies in exchange for mentioning them. The only consideration is in the form of affiliate commissions in the event of a purchase, and you should assume that any links leading you to these items are affiliate referrals.
Having said that, I only link to products that I would promote (and have promoted before I discovered affiliate programs) simply because I believe in or have used the products. While some are my own books, others are third-party products and services that I have investigated and truly believe deliver value or benefits to you.
I (Catherine Barnhoorn) am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Pages on this site may include affiliate links to Amazon and its affiliate sites on which the owner of this website will make a referral commission.
I (Catherine Barnhoorn) am also a participant in the following affiliate programs (this may not be the full/current list): Food Matters, Barnes and Noble, Changing Habits, Institute For Integrative Nutrition, Hay House, Mindvalley, Nutrition Network, Faithful To Nature, Big Life Journal.
WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE LINK?
Many (but not all) of the links on mamasmedicine.co.za are affiliate links. This means that a special tracking code is used and that I may make a small commission on the sale of an item if you purchase through one of these links. The price of the item is the same for you whether it is an affiliate link or not, and using affiliate links helps me to maintain this website and support myself and my daughter. Again, for simplicity, assume that any link on mamasmedicine.co.za is an affiliate link and that I may/will make a commission if you purchase through these links (though the price remains the same for you).
When Do I Use Affiliate Links?
If I post an affiliate link to a product, it is something that I personally use, support and would recommend without an affiliate link. Or it is a product that is recommended by people and professionals that I know, trust and respect. Unless noted otherwise, any product I link to is one I have purchased myself and use for myself, my daughter and/or my clients. My first priority is always providing products and information to help you live a well-nourished life and to otherwise enable you to create positive changes in you and your children’s well-being and lives. I will only ever link to products or resources (affiliate or otherwise) that fit within this purpose. I sometimes review items that are sent to me for free. All of my opinions regarding them are my own. I only endorse products that are in alignment with my ideals and that I believe would be of value to my readers and clients.
